Winging it to Los Cabos just keeps getting easier

We’re taking a break from talking about our amazing weddings to let you know some great travel news for Los Cabos. We are expecting 3 new US flight destinations with service Cabo commencing this fall!

Right off the bat, you should know there are over 3 million visits per year to Los Cabos, and 1,342 flight routes to 110 different cities in 7 different countries. Mind boggling, right?

You may be wondering – is it safe to travel? All of Los Cabos, including hotels, venues, restaurants and our airport, SJD, adhere to strict guidelines set out by international, national and local health and safety authorities, including a phased reopening plan that is well under way.

Which Airlines are Announcing New SJD Service? 

American Airlines has announced a Los Cabos expansion commencing this December and running through April 2021. 

Los Cabos is already well served by American Airlines, with multiple hubs including Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Seasonal destinations include Charlotte NC and Chicago O’Hare. 

Eastern Airlines had announced new services to Cabo, commencing this past July 4th but Covid “grounded” that idea. They now plan to launch November 20.

New Destinations 

The new flights to Los Cabos with American Airlines include Austin, Texas, New York JFK, and Sacramento, California. These new flights will run one each on Saturdays using Boing 737 equipment. American will also schedule two new flights from New York on Wednesday and Saturday using an Airbus 319.

The new flight with Eastern Airlines is also New York JFK, with a Boeing 767-200 ER that will operate this route twice weekly.
